I havent used them but I know a fellow who has (very experienced NC racer who runs a dyno as well).

He mentioned to me that he recently tuned a set of 45s FAJS carbs and they worked great, just as expected. I have heard some negative stories but most of which come from sources who have a vested interest in selling genuine webers, so I always consider such feedback as possibly tainted.

However, even if they work just as well as an original weber, the cost difference is not enough to sway me to buy copies. There is the initial cost then there is the reduced resale.

The 45s are pretty cheap brand new from weber (about $560 from memory), so I would not bother with a chinese copy to save such a small amount (from memory the FAJS is about $400 per carb?).
