Lc fitting carpet around front seat legs

Hi , I found out recently that LC front seats bolt directly to the floor pan and not on top of the carpet like most I've seen. I need to fit carpet soon ,but for all my internet digging I can't find any pics that show how it should be done. Can anyone help please ? Thanks

You will need to cut the carpet on 3 sides so you can put the bolt in and then there is a little carpet tab that folds back over the top.

I'm not sure which side should be left uncut, but it may be self evident once you have a look at it.

Can't find anything either Brett ,thought about cutting a "U" shape so that the carpet flap fits back inside the seat mount.

I haven't found any clear info yet,my friend picked up a lc gtr last weekend and it has slots cut in the front carpet so there's a flap that goes into the gap in the leg , if that makes sense, looks a bit rough though.Not convinced that it's factory done.

yes, there are slots. And yes, from factory the are not perfect at all.

So I sat the seats where they needed to go on top of the carpet and then traced around the feet with chalk. Then took the seat away and cut basically an "H" SHAPE where the leg sat . Then folded the flaps back and sat the seats on the floor pan.Worked out perfectly.
