Looking at those Laurie - are they stainless? - look to have been zinc'd

I have 1 full arm up here that would suit you

I think there would be another set in the shed somewhere from that other sedan I bought in pieces.

About that other shell Laurie, when are we going to see that on "members projects" ??? :D  :D

Hi Laurie, yes there was a pair of the pressed type ones as well as a set of the rarer wire type ones also

Hey John, hows it going? It is good to see you are still calling into the forum now and again.  If I wasn't so lazy I would have dug up the list of parts you gave me with the car. :)

I still have a couple of other projects to finish before I can start on the Torana. I had only just made a start on the first one when I broke my back which has put my plans back many months.

It may have just been a supply thing. When they needed 10,000 wiper arms they just went with the lowest quote? My '74 has the wire ones, but I don't know if they are original to the car.

One for you Laurie  - yours seems to be a trico arm - well ones sort of the same anyway

Have to agree mate with the prices, but they are 40 odd years old now and the bulk of these jiggers are now living a new life as a mass produced letterboxes now bought from Bunnings, or in landfill

I was eyeing a reco set off, that are still on fleabay the bloke started out at $525 and he is now back down to $475 - LX wire set and was thinking "is this is what it has come to"

Both kidneys are gone now but i didn't think i would get that much for a spleen

People are hanging onto this stuff for dear life

Glad i went the way i did with the rares ones - they look the goods

Hi Swarbs my Mar1975 LH SLR5000 has (Rainbow made in Australia) and (Trico) stamped on the wiper blade, they are in great condition, would you just replace the blades or would you fit the Repco ones

which look very similar except for a slight variation to how it fits back to the arm.

Regards Howie

Anything original to your car, refurbish and refit. Avoid repro or aftermarket wherever you can.

Agree also

The Trico's are getting thin on the ground now and people are paying for them

Stick with original

Time for an update in your build thread Dave. It looks good out in the sun.
