I'm looking to replace my painted bumper bars with chrome bars for my LX.

I was originally going to get my bars chromed but can't justify some of the prices I've been quoted (+$950 each bar). So I'm gonna look at getting reproduction bars.

Who makes the best repro chrome bars these days?

I know there were a few issues with early batches from a few sellers but it seems those issues may have been sorted now.

Cheers

Most likely the only difference between the repro bumper bars being sold by a number of retailers is the price.

Everywhere I've rang in SA has quoted a minimum of $950 per bar. These have been the top places in Adelaide that do triple layer chroming.

I think I'll just go a repo bar

I only looked at places in Adelaide as that's where I am...figured it'd be easier instead of sending the bars interstate
