My car had its warranty invoked 7/77 so I’m not sure if it was driving around with the HZX578 plates from 10/76 when it was manufactured...don’t really know what internal promotion card do....?

Anyhow HZX is right at the end of the series.

Sales brochures and the like. I’ve identified all the vans, utes and tonner in this brochure against the records, and they are mostly 21x dealer codes.

It may not have had a Warrany, just a recorded sales date which I think is when it left GMH. As it still carries the internal code when the report was generated means there was no credited selling dealer.

Also possibly a motor show car. They would have needed replacement RTS LX’s for display at 1977 motor shows maybe? Find someone with a magazine that details the cars on display at some of the shows. Like this one

I'll have to correct myself from post 27, some of the vans, utes etc from that sales brochure were 21x codes. Most sales brochure stuff looks to be 25x which I think is maybe the Sales Promotion codes (Press Test). In the group of 22 Elizabeth June 1977 HZ's there are 3 x 214 coded vehicles, one of them is the yellow Kingswood ute. Remember cars were used for different purposes sometimes, and then often re-purposed. Like the HQ GTS ute into the Ewe't, one of the brochure vans into the Sea Witch etc. Then later disposed of.

On google images LH Torana,there's a green 74 LH Torana sold new through the Suttons Chullora dealership with the number plates HCZ 391,
