Hi guys

is this rear garnish repairable

someone tried to open the boot when it was locked

prior to this is was a 9.5 out of 10

Superglue to start with, then good araldite, not the 5 minute type to reinforce it from behind perhaps?

If there is room and thickness, a staple or similar melted into the plastic from the rear with a soldering iron could also work

 

Its already frocked, so what have you got to lose trying something?

I wonder if you could mix in a little red lens dye in with the araldite .

I tried to fix mine but it was always visible. Me being the fussy prick i am I ended up hunting one down that wasn't cracked. That is the hard to get garnish too.
