You may be right about the cast impeller jobs. I can’t remember which type I ended up installing lately. I did get a NOS cast impeller one at Campbelltown swap the other year but it was the wrong bolt spacing hub for my application.Yes clay, i have a press & the dies, very handy. I thought the cast impeller pumps were like $60 + maybe I'm wrong ? Gary.

Crikey out of the thousands of 6 cylinder GM water pumps they made surely there are hundreds of NOS ones sitting around in old garages somewhere? Same as when I was chasing a NOS distributor cap (Brown Bosch), you would think there would be thousands of them out there but I suspect the old blokes that have them can't be bothered packaging them up and driving to the post office for $50 or $100. I ended up finding a cap from an old school garage run by a 70 year old mechanic ($30) but I had to drive in there and speak face to face.

No worries. I'm going to give it to the scrappy for the value of the aluminium. Thanks for the offer. Very reasonable but I don't have the need of it. Maybe another forum member wants it?

The 6cyl water pump in this ad looks like the 1981 onwards 'jumbo' bearing pump.

Must have been a deeper pulley with these.
This one goes with the fan spacer. Too long to use in my application. It came with the EH sump from Rikki.

I contacted JDM industries, they have quoted approx $182 to overhaul my single heater outlet V8 water pump. Reasonable. Ill get it boxed up and sent to them.
