You may be right about the cast impeller jobs. I can’t remember which type I ended up installing lately. I did get a NOS cast impeller one at Campbelltown swap the other year but it was the wrong bolt spacing hub for my application.

Got another cast impeller six cylinder wster pump. Not dure if it is NOS or slightly used. If so hardly. Gumtree $5 and guy dropped it off to me. You can be lucky but you have to be quick.4df86bc0c27ffd385b6751491e87724e.jpg89b8e401c58ac024dd4982418aef5a93.jpg99259493e3b16bff9e5b9be4d2ae6b06.jpg

I kept some shitty old 6 cyl water pumps hoping that this day would come. I have to move my mad Euro luxo muscle cruiser (proudly built in Germany) to get to them but since I'm at home full time now I should be able to get it done tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer. Very reasonable but I don't have the need of it. Maybe another forum member wants it?

Crikey out of the thousands of  6 cylinder GM water pumps they made surely there are hundreds of NOS ones sitting around in old garages somewhere? Same as when I was chasing a NOS distributor cap (Brown Bosch), you would think there would be thousands of them out there but I suspect the old blokes that have them can't be bothered packaging them up and driving to the post office for $50 or $100. I ended up finding a cap from an old school garage run by a 70 year old mechanic ($30) but I had to drive in there and speak face to face.

No worries. I'm going to give it to the scrappy for the value of the aluminium.

Here is a NOS 6 cyl cast impeller pump $28 near Lismore. Later pulley and fan hub pattern. This guy is very reasonable to deal with.

The 6cyl water pump in this ad looks like the 1981 onwards 'jumbo' bearing pump.

Yes. Someone might use it for the impeller?

Must have been a deeper pulley with these.

This one goes with the fan spacer. Too long to use in my application. It came with the EH sump from Rikki.04b7a7f3e57d023c9768e40e589de5eb.jpg

I have a body marked Holden and part number 92000216 not in great condition but usable and it has impeller pn 92000210 if anyone wants it. $20 posted. Unless its off an XU1 or an A9X in which case we'll need to negotiate.

Copy. So I checked a 138 I've got stored and it has a GM pump but the casing where the hose mounts is rooted.

I contacted JDM industries, they have quoted approx $182 to overhaul my single heater outlet V8 water pump. Reasonable. Ill get it boxed up and sent to them.
