Wondering what gloss level was used on black steering columns and also the pedals . I've got some satin black which looks good on top of dash but the original paint on steering column looks a bit glossy but doesn't look as glossy as 2 pack black would be . So what sort of black do I need for the column and pedals , is it normal 2K black gloss?

Semi gloss, what you have is low gloss, gmh only ever called them semi or low gloss, once flattening base was added. Yes, the top of your dash & pillars should be your low gloss.

Thanks that's what I expected, I'll go see the paint guy but can you normally get semi gloss off the shelf in 2K or do they just add flattener to a 2K gloss?

Originally it would have been an acrylic medium gloss black air dry, same paint as used for lower body blackouts on GTS, Sandman etc. From memory 578-4149 is the Dulon code.

Yes mate, they add flattening base correct. What Byron said on the shade code too.
