Hi ,was the finish on the sun visor brackets specific for GTR and XU1 only ? Top visor is from a 1969 Torana S which has the chrome finish ,no idea why they dropped the chrome finish,same part number 7432731 (LH) 7432730 (RH).

The change from chrome finish to the matt silver was to comply with ADR12, regarding anti-glare in the driver's field of view.
This is why chrome wiper arms were changed to matt finish & later black.

Whilst we're talking lc visors, do we have an honest answer on the time frame change from roebuck to the ribbed patern ? Gary.
