Have been using the petrol spy information to find cheaper fuel.

Petrol Spy is a joke. The information is bullshit. Jumped in my car to fill up based on there info. The petrol station informed me they had not changed or advertised the price Petrol Spy was advising.

Adelaide you are worst place to live in Australia. Maybe the most expensive and there is nothing here. That's why they built the motor sport park at Tailem Bend, so they don't actually have to go into Adelaide. We don't have real petrol price information by law. Its up to bullshit apps like Petrol Spy informing us of False petrol prices that never were. If they were ever to give Australia an animar, how ever you spell it. They would shove the hose in Adelaide.

If we don't get running water here soon, I am out.

F#ck Adelaide and all you politicians rats.

F#ck you most of all Petrol Spy.

I watch these Australian police tv shows, They pull someone over, they give them a fine. I just sit there and think, Hang on , we pay double that. Maybe more. Then I find myself wishing it was me getting fined. I start giggling when the fine is handed to me. The copper looks at me and asks, Are you crazy or from Adelaide, because there the only ones that giggle.

Expletive deleted, off to, gee I don’t know, Tassie, Qld, Perth?

Driving out of your way and queuing up to save a few $ on a weekly tank of fuel is a waste of precious time and wait for it.....fuel!

Adelaide has relatively cheap housing and jobs within sane commuting distance, no toll roads, clean uncrowded beaches and a hell of a lot less “natural” disasters than a lot of other places.

Get a diesel. The fuel price doesn’t really fluctuate like petrol does.

A few suggestions for you to consider when you calm down. 8)8)8)

:), Didn't actually drive out of my way, I was going that way to pick up soft serve icecream mix. Cheap housing ? not sure where. Travel to work ,yeah but Adelaide is a small country town. Toll roads , we have no infrastructure. uncrowded beaches, no one gets out because there is nothing to do when you get there. In the water or lay in the sun.

We have a system here called fuelwatch

Every station has to notify their price for the next day by a certain time... and they email it to registered users around 2pm

Its then locked in for the day and can't be changed

I use the 7/11 fuel app

I find the cheapest local and lock the price in... usually on a Monday as that's when out fuel cycle usually is at its lowest

Then if I need fuel any time in the next 7 days I can buy it at any 7/11 store for that price regardless of the advertised price

I used it during my NSW trip for Toranafest

Locked in 1.28 at Bathurst

Filled at the pumps in Sydney 2 days later when they said $1.60... for $1.28

Reminds me of the app Boozle for finding best prices for grog in your area.
Seemed to work fine initially.
Then, in my humble opinion, it seemed to always send me to BWS?...someone told me the apps was owned by Woolies...who'd have thought?

Clean air is the only thing going for Adelaide. They placed a shit load of solar panels on the old Mitsubishi site. Then someone mentioned this could be a tourist attraction. Really, come to Adelaide see the solar panels. I think that we send our electricity to Vic and they send back what they don't need. I feel there are a lot of politicians with a fist full of cash in there back pockets. Then they move somewhere interstate to live a decent life.

I think you will find most capital cities have their own downfalls. As much as I love living in Canberra and it is a great city, I won't be living here when I retire. The territory is run by a bunch of narcissistic pricks with no idea and the cost of everything is way too dear nowadays.

Geographically speaking you have to admit that Adelaide is perfectly positioned to claim the arsehole of Australia title.

Adelaide is the gonads. Melbourne the arsehole. Tassie must be a turd. Canberra is a cancer in the bowel of the continent. Sydney and Brisbane are fissures in Australia's bum. FNQ is the tail that wags the dog of a nation. WA is the big empty head. 8)8)

If you want to save on Petrol get a Costco membership and fill up there...you'll save way more than the cost of the membership.
Their fuel is good quality too.

Most I've paid in the last few years is $1.48 for 98.

I'm also in Adelaide and look at PetrolSpy Evey now and then and its been fine for me. Only problem is any one can submit a fuel price for a servo, which looks like you experienced.

Rainman, good man you won't look back. To be honest I just use the membership for the fuel. I think I've been in the store once to check it out. Supposedly they have good sales on tyres every now and then

Talk about skewed results. I’ll wager if it were all of Queensland, we would have the tallest building..

Costco used to have good soft serve so you might be able to kill two birds with one stone.
