Don't do it! Buy one already done or more complete at least. Parts are getting scarce.Unless I had a complete car now I wouldn't be doing it ,just my opinion. At a local car show on the weekend I saw a pretty tidy HK Premier for $25,000 ,buy and drive, there would be no way I'd start an incomplete Torana with part prices going through the roof and restoration prices the way they are now, you'd be spending more than that trying to find and stretching the budget with parts, not to mention body work if it needs it.Just my personal opinion.Anyway welcome Mick.

With the doner I will have 95% of parts not counting engine it’s a project that I will be completing over a number of years as I enjoy doing most of the work myself
It was more of a question of what isn’t compatible but I have talked to a torana guy and got the answers I was after ,I can afford a project car with an ongoing wage to spend over a number of years buying a decent one outright is out of my price range thanks guys for replying
