Does anyone know the correct P/N or a supplier for the clutch cable bushing on a early commodore bellhousing. I cant see it on the breakdown in the W/shop manual but can see some possible p/n's. Possibly similar in colour to this Cortina one.

The originals are a cone shape from memory with the pointy end cut off. They are Holden too, not just Commodore. Every manual HZ-WB V8 from mid 1978 had one the same. Almost exactly half the HQ-WB timeframe co-incidentally!

Not sure who makes reproduction if any, you’d almost 3D print one.

92001301 (INSERT-Housing ) commodore V series parts manual.

I suppose you could carve one out of a neoprene bush

Best out of a skateboard or roller skate wheel.

The tricky part is if you get the heavy duty Dellow clutch cable as well (even after specifying the inner and outer length) and they send you the wrong one and you send it back and specify the correct length again

and they still send you a wrong length cable ( but better) and when you fit it you are so close to running out of adjustment, that you have to make up a spacer that sits on the cable base and spaces off the "Housing Insert" and you eventually get it right.  Thats the hard part!!!
