Hi,

Does anyone have an LX Torana sedan ADR27A petrol tank for sale?

Or does anyone know of someone that has one for sale?

There were only ever two different fuel tanks in any LH or LX Torana, all rated at 12 imperial gallons capacity (roughly 55 litres).

Early LH models (without evaporative controls, also used for non-emission controlled export models) - p/n 2824105

and

All other LH & LX models (with charcoal canister) - p/n 9934250

UC Torana tanks are different because the spare wheel hump in the boot floor got moved.

The only other variation AFAIK was the fuel senders, which were different for factory air-con models.

Thanks for the reply Bigfella237.

I'm converting a UC Torana to an LX. I've changed the boot floor to an LX and now I need to purchase an LX petrol tank from somewhere, p/n 9934250 as you specified to connect to a charcoal canister and comply with the ADR27A rules.

A9X had a welded in UC portion of the floorpan where the upper control arms attach. It is the spare wheel location that makes the C tank different.

Have you thought about an alloy Brown Davis tank for it?
