Smoky skies and smoky tyres, it’s all on again!

 

The blue sky disappeared well south of the Victorian border and has yet to reappear.... visibility on the trip up was as bad as 300 meters at times.

 

Arrived in time to see people lining the streets in anticipation of the Supercruise. Didn’t hang about and went straight to the Nats entrance. As usual, you can hear it before you see it.

I forgot to mention that Lightning McQueen was not king of the morning Barra efforts. Not even close.

Im sure many of you know Mark Arblasters name.

In the early days of the dyno competitions he was allowed to do an exhibition run in WAR440, his valiant. 440 big block Chrysler on alcohol with a rootes style blower. No forced induction Big blocks allowed! With some mucking around he made just over 600 hp at the tyres. Biggest hp of the weekend.

 

Today he ran his current valiant which has a forced induction LS combo.
