Hi everyone Have pulled my front end out and it seams I have UC upper arms on my LH K Frame. And the holes for the bushes on the lower arms are flogged out, the bushes just fell out when I got the arm off. 1st question is it OK to continue to use the UC uppers? and is there any difference between lowers as I have another front end at a mates place but which model it is out of I don't know. Thanks Dave

Thanks So if I've got this right I can use the UC upper arms and all the lower ones have the same geometry?

I'd get the uc steering arms as well and get alignment done to UC specs unless you have some other specific plans.
You could also redrill the UCA bolts lower if you wanted a bit better geometry.

As Toranamat says, check the steering arms and if you can, drill the holes to the lower position. Check here for part numbers and differences. http://ls2lxhatch.com/suspension.htm
I had an issue with a lower control arm where the bush housings in the control arm were worn. Not long after installing them they would slide a few mm and become loose. I removed the control arm and found that the distance between bushes had been reduced, forcing pressure on the bushes which tended to make them move out. This compression also made them hard to install into the K-Frame. I bent them a few mm back to specification. Then to make sure I put a few grub screws into the bushes so that the screw heads prevented the bushes from popping out. I was tempted to tack weld them in but the extra effort to put in screws makes them easier to remove when required. No issues two years down the track.
Cheers, Steve.
