I'm not sure how it comes down from the clip on the plenum chamber or if it's looped over the steering column ,as the plenum chamber clips only take the courtesy light door switch to the left of the column, also is the carpet underlay layed over the top of the wiring or underneath? Thanks Paul.

Hey Paul, from memory the dipper switch wiring on my LJ goes down via the left side of the column. Which, by the looks of the bends in the wires at your dip switch wiring connector will be how your LC was also done.
My wiring is under my carpet underlay but none of the carpet or underlay is original so my installation might not be correct.
