I'm looking at pedal box options for an upgrade in an LJ Torana track car.
There's obviously always to make anything work, but I was curious as to what brand and style others are using.
I.e. reverse swing, floor mount, top mount etc.
Pedal box (aftermarket) fitment- who's using what?

I recently got my pedals modified with bronze bushes to take out any slack. The reproduction nylon bushes didn't do it for me.
I also recently made a new accelerator pedal assembly to take a cable as I wasn't happy with the old one.

It's temporarily back in the car but due to come back out shortly when I strip it to get painted. So if I remember I'll get one then.

Wilwood, ap racing etc.

The Tilton 900 series look the best out of ghe ones i have researched. Price is mindblowing though. Still can't quite bring myself to dropping that sort of cash.

I had modified the brake pedal in my lx to fit a balance bar, had the 2 m/c’a in the firewall.
For next car have a tilton reverse floor mount to fit, although i have heard from my motec guy, he also does data analysis for some race cars, tilton brake pedals are not linear in how they apply the force, all except the top level 900 series.
Using a floor mount can affect roll cage as drivers seat may have to be moved back which affects the harness bar, also your steering wheel position.
I looked into a firewall mount but the position and size of the steering column creates some big issues, this is an LX tho. I have fitted a reverse cylinder mount to a bmw e30 and its working well in that.
Going to these styles of pedal box take some setting up and fine tuning and getting used to, is worth it when racing.
