after sitting in the shed for about 12 years ive misplaced ( lost ) one of the rear indicator globe holders ( im sure there is a technical name for them ) other than the lx torana, what other holden models had the same holders please ........ im guessing there are gunna be hard to find ....... any help would be muchly appreciated ....

Marko, are you referring to the white backing that the globe fittings sits in.  If so there is one on Gumtree at present.  Cheers Ron

I think I know what you want but could you post pic of the one you still have and I'll check. Stripped out few LH and LX but keep things like that.

im after the black bit that actually holds the globe ......and then goes into the white part you where referring to ........ ive forgotten how to load pics ......... if i work out how to do that ill post some .....

i put it in a safe place approx 12 years ago .............. along with the bracket that goes onto the trans to support the change cable ........ must be a really good spot cause other than pulling the shed down to make sure ive checked everwhere its now gone to the torana gods ........ lol

Hi Marko.  Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're after, here is a pic of the replacement ones my auto elec. did for me.  I don't think they are that rare but it is part of the rear loom. Cheers Ron

Hi Marko.  There is a forum member Aaron who has a business called All Auto Recreations.  I was just looking at his EBay site and he makes the rear wiring loom for LX, among other things.  Cheers Ron

id like to thank all those that helped me with this issue .......... i just happened to drop into an auto electricion, i explained what i was after and after about 10 minutes of him rummaging through bits and peices out the back he returned ...... with 3 in hand, no charge ( i only took one) .......... from a vn commodore and its a tight fit but works ......
