my bonnet hinges are stuffed, are people buying new ones or getting the billet ones, i see proflow, areoflow and bilss make them or is there some who repins the original. Do the aftermarket ones clear the heater box.

Is your bonnet too high at the back?

Mine is too high at the back, are these reconditioned hinges a solution Rob?

Loosen the bolts that hold the hinge to the skirt.
Get a mate to push the bonnet all the way up while you tighten the bolts.
See how it sits then.
Let me know what happens.

Worked for me, thanks Rob.
It did take some fiddling to get it better and it's still not perfect but a lot better. The rivets in mine have a lot of play.
Woohoo

After not much use, the stainless pins are now looser than the originals before i repinned them and i was struggling to get the bonnet all correct.
The original pins must be quite hard i guess.
I now have billet hinges with bearings. Way nicer and bought the hinge adjustment nicely back to close on centre of adjustment range with bonnet all lined up.
