Matt black colour code inside hatchback lid LX series

Hi ,

anyone know the code , its a very fine Matt black used from new?

S263 is the GMH code as far as I know. The formula code is 578-4149. Same black used on lower body blackouts. Some interior bits in this too.

Having the codes is one thing..finding a paint shop that still deals with these old codes is another.you might
have to get it matched..i tried ppg that has the codes
but to the earlier model lc .and they told me they
changed their system 5yrs ago,they might tell you who is still using the old system..

I have the formula for it at home. There is a PPG paint place in Hamilton, Newcastle that recognises the old Dulon codes. I got some Woodsman Green mixed recently there.

On this green hatch, the inside paint was brown. it was also masked off as rough as guts.

I think it depended on the trim line.

Slate Grey? My Royal Plum hatch had the SL equivalent trim and it was that satin black under the hatch

My hatch had a chamois interior, under hatch was painted a similar (sort of!) colour.
