G'day All

This might be of interest to see the ABC's idea of the extinction of the HOLDEN brand

Very sad as I've always been a HOLDEN man even though I've had other brand of cars

RegardSS .... Barry

The self proclaimed expert economist had never even owned a Holden.

Yep, not quite what I was expecting either.

The economist’s view does match mine in regards to daily drivers, “buy the cheapest one that gets you from A to B”.

The old bloke who was the collector/enthusiast seemed to know what he was on about.

RIP Holden...

Cheers,

Liz :)

Just a lightweight entertainment story.  Not bad IMHO.

If they had real gurus etc on there, 99% of what they said would be lost on the audience anyway.

I do love the "just get the cheapest to get you from A to B " type coments...usually made by those who may have just spend 15k on a European oven or whatever that cooks a chook, just like a $999  cheap oven does, all the while wearing Brand name  runners that cost $430, shoes, just like the plain jane ones  from a dept store for $45 .

Gotta larf...
