I’m my experience the clutch brackets never weld too well. They end up breaking.

This ones been welded since I've had it many years, although I think it's been shortened (not by me).I'd like to keep it original.I figure if I weld a few elongated holes up and repair worn pins , there's no reason it shouldn't work as it should.

Paul I have a well used one and appears to be 3" although mine has 'play' in the shaft but if you are just after the overall length then 3" according to my ruler.

My linkage looks visibly different to the one Bazza has posted, so perhaps the linkages changed over the years?

Hi

Looking at mine now - it appears to have been modified so that the rotating part that connects to the clutch pull rod is detachable. The parts catalogue shows those 2 segments as one assembly.

That would suggest Mark, that yours is the original assembly. That drastic wear on the pivot posts is typical of the rat trap mechanism. I just discovered the same phenomenon in my pedal box when the pull rod connects to the clutch pedal. The post was hanging by a thread, glad I took the opportunity to inspect it..

Cheers

Bazza, the anchor on your Torana relay lever looks to be the type used on the HK,T,G relay lever, it has a double thickness shank. Part No. 2809745

The part number for the anchor that attaches to the Torana 6cyl RHD clutch pedal is 7433839. See Group 0.787 in the parts catalogues.

This anchor is also used on the LC, LJ relay lever and the HK,T,G clutch pedal.
