Nah one of those hippy schools that say to kids “if you don’t want to learn maths or English today that’s cool we will just talk about climate change”

yeah right. Main stream schools don’t do that lol. You don’t have the slightest clue. Anyone who knows a bit about that particular brand of schooling will tell you that the kids there are being intellectualised at a higher rate than those at state schools, where rote learning of times tables is no longer done.

Now my kids went and go to a proper hippy school where they don’t get over intellectualised too early, but do learn their times tables. As for the state schools, well they are mainly in the business of baby sitting kids so mum and dad can be part of the corporate machine, in the pursuit of the next holiday to Bali.

Just back from a week on class ten camp, yes camping, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, surfing, drawing, painting and generally learning about nature in a costal national park with minimal cellular coverage. Damn hippy shit. Glad it wasn’t an option when I was at school in the sixties and seventies, not.

Keep the mindless gratuitous comments coming hanra. They stimulate comment.

My daughter went to a Montessori pre school. They are very highly regarded. Lucky none of the kids were out front when that happened. What a mess. Hope the driver is ok.

Exactly.

My sister spent a very long time in Wujal Wujal as a teacher at the Bloomfield River State School, and yes she is a Hippy living in the big smoke as her ex Husband would prefer her to not leave the state.
