SS Hatchback Identification Question - missing passenger tag

I’ve been offered an early 76 SS Hatchback.
It has the driver & centre tag. The passenger tag has been lost as the car was getting repair on the plenum.
The drivers tag matches the vin. The centre identifies as SS.. what are the concerns in your eye and how much does it devalue the car?
I will upload picks of tags in a min

It is an auto car too by the engine number.
It is only a 6cyl car so never going to be a super valuable car. I’d value it as a hatchback with no tags, so if it is a good body with all good panels and has its specific parts like seats and console then still worth reasonable money. Being a 2/76 easy car to modify with a SBC or whatever else takes your fancy.

Definitely an auto yes. Comes with a UC to repair plenum & 308 4sp to convert.
He wants my very original rust free (almost) LH SLR which i have all new interior to go back in plus coin. I know you hatch boys feel they are the be all but i'm parcial & we have owned some of the best of them over the years.
The only reason I'm considering is because i have 2x 4door cars but one is a race car. The SLR road car is one of the best original shells ive seen but paint is fried as was interior from sitting open air storage (covered) for a very loooong time.. I'll never paint it though as people will never know how good it is if done.
The bay on SLR is so clean I'd almost assume its done less than a turn of clock... I'll post a pic of the SLR ina tick

Rust apparent under roof but hatch etc look good. Inside C-pillar evident but not too bad. Doesn't matter if little or alot in my eyes as the repair process us much the same.
Floors inc boot is good. Doors mostly good. Plenum needs lovin & paint obviously

Being a fan of the four doors, and with them both being six cylinders, I think the extra cash should be going your way.

Its not a bad shell but when you have to conduct the repairs it needed it really wasnt worth the $$ i have to spend to get it where it needs to be.
I might be able to do a deal with the ol beford and cash his way so Ill try go down that road 1st.
I'll let you all know how i go. If no dice & anyone wanting a hatch I'll ask him if ok to pass details on.
Cheers

The rust at back of roof has gone through 2 layers of metal to get to the inside, so its pretty bad, that will need alot of work to rectify, which relates to big $ unless you are doing it yourself. with rust there that bad I'd be having a very close look at rest of body. If the four door is really rust free as others have said cash should be coming your way.

Unfortunately I don’t have the skills for that so I’d be relying on others & $$... given the current-19 situation it’s not a wise way to spend money.
I’m just going to chug away on what I got for a while I reckon.
Thanks gents

Torana hatchbacks are the modern day snake oil. Some people will pay anything for them.

That’s cos they are smokin hot!
I get more people giving me the thumbs up and coming up to talk to me when I’m in the hatch than any of the other cars.

How do you know the ADR tag matches the VIN?

Auto cars had an A stamped after the description

Only from 6/76 onwards. Prior to that it wasn’t used.

All correct, but only half the story...
From 01 January 1972 automatic cars had second edition ADR 9 (Standard Controls For Automatic Transmissions) included in the list of ADRs on the compliance plate, manual cars did not have it listed.
But ADR 9 was repealed 01 July 1976 so GMH instead started adding the "A" after the description on the compliance plate to identify automatic cars.
