A few years ago, I bought a HR disc brake front end. Have just around to rebuilding and the brakes appear to be LJ. The stub axles have been completely smoothed so have no part numbers, but have larger thread on end, are definitely 9 degree KPI and the washer keyway is at 12 o’clock. Hoping someone more knowledgeable may be able to shed some light as am going to advertise them, but want to ensure I am accurate.

The calipers are same but stubb axles different. Due to different steering. Rack and pinion LJ and steering box HR. Some thing to do with steering arm fitment

I'm pretty sure HR disc calipers are not the same as LC, LJ or HK,T,G either.

Mount holes in the upright are the same is what he means I t think. The calipers s nd discs are interchangeable as s set with Torana giving a wider offset for more back space.

Sounds like comparing the steering arm mounting holes is a way yo compare. Not sure I can trust myself to measure kpi within 2 deg. Maybe with a disc rotor fitted and measure offsets to ball joint holes top and bottom then high school trig.

Agree the caliper mounting hole spacing dimensions are the same but that is probably all.

Thanks folks, fitted them all up and with max number of camber spacers, still have positive camber so are 9 degrees KPI. The front end also had Torana calipers and rotors so am going to go with LJ.

Clay, can’t resolve camber issue so will need to find some HR stub axles.
