Well I didn't have the current one to line up but it is different to all 3 corner pieces and the inner and outer lip are parrallel so still far from correct.

I just went and looked again vs the first pic in this thread and it is different actually. It is even taller on the outter lip than the first pic. I think it needs to be shorter. But yes I wont use any of them.
For my lx, I'm going to keep original and fix the couple of rust bubbles. For my UC, I'll wait or make my own if I get there first.

Ahh I see Brett's photo of one above now. Very different again so does that make 3 types from Rare Spares now?

How long is that piece and are the correct dimensions available for it?  What thickness? Is it just a straight section or is it curved?

Doesn't look that difficult to make up?

The straight section on my lx is approx 1030 to 1040 long and yes it is dead straight.

The rares straight bit I have here is 1128 long.

The rares corners have about 50 to 60mm of straight section on the ends so if you could use these, you would only need about 940 long straight. I guess if it is made 1040 long, some lucky people might get away with keeping their original corners.

Doesn't look hard to make. If I used the rares one above and cut the outside lip, I reckon it would be spot on with another 2.5 to 3mm lip folded over.

HatchssV8 posted a piece of original Torana at top of page 1. Surely this would be the best bit to copy wouldn't it?

It may be that it depends which rubber seal you go for would call for a slight different channel.
