Has anyone used a diff centre from parts for hotrods in QLD?
Have been told that a lot of these cheaper diffs are manufactured in india.

Currently shopping for a centre and was wondering if anyone has tried one.

I saw them and came to the conclusion that it was likely to be the equivalent quality to a certain ....comp product. No experience in this regard though, just using the “you get what you pay for” idea on them. I need to buy a 3.25 Tru Trac 28 spline eventually hence why I looked. Using an old 3:1 LSD from an XC I’ve had for over 20 years for now.

the trutrac/torque worm lsd from Speedmaster/procomp/atracing are apparently pretty good, assembled onsite by a reputable diff guy..

you would be surprised to know some big name shops are using these centres

Good to know, but I still don’t want to be a Guinea Pig! I’ll use a proper Eaton/Strange setup and leave the cheap stuff for more adventurous people.

I have one of their composite 9" Housings, Alloy center section with bolt on axle tubes and it looks quite nice!

I recently bought a 3.89 31 spline trutrack alloy centre from them, overall it looks good, but the finish on the Chromemolly yoke is very average, lots of chatter in the machining, I've been meaning to bring it up with them. Its not been fitted and used as I've just sold my house and moved out so everything is in storage indefinitely for the time being...
