There is a BMW here in SA with personalised plates "covid-19". Would appear the plates were issued some time ago before the virus started.

The media is trying to make a bit of a story about it including where it has been spotted around Adelaide.

I notice this morning the Transport Department has ordered the owner to surrender the plates after receiving a few complaints.

The Department has also "apologised for any inconvenience caused" to 1 complainant.

Would appears a minority can change a lot of things but only a majority can change things at an election.

Unfortunately we live in a country built on 200 years of pandering to lazy wingers.

If anybody out there has OLD AGE on their plates, they may as well surrender them now before someone gets upset.

Years ago I had the "Shoot 'em. Don't root 'em" sticker on the back of my ute and everybody (large ladies included) used to get a good laugh out of it.

Think poor bloke lost his final appeal to keep plates...iirc story is the plates had been on car for 10 years already & no issues untill they tried to order similar set for another car for similar theme then some karen expert deemed them offensive.

World gone cray cray

I remember a HQ pano getting around in the 90's with the number plates "GET IN". I'm sure that people would take offense to that these days.

20+ years ago I was a driver/mechanic for a bus company up the bush.

I had the sticker "Get in, sit down, shut up and hang on" on the back window.

The parents all got a laugh out of it and no one complained...…………….

Those days are gone sadly.

Used to see many pano's sporting bumper stickers like 'Don't laugh your daughter may be inside' or If this vans rockin' don't bother knockin'.

When you know why Melbourne is the PC capital of Australia then you will know what is wrong with the world and who is really behind all our problems.

I wish this bloody country would stop pandering to minorities ! The old adage "The squeaky wheel gets the most grease" has never been truer.

The bloke only got those plates because FRIDGE MAGNET wouldn't fit.

I wonder if they will be reimbursing him for ALL of the previous fees ?
