Hi all,
I need to source silver SLR dash for my LX, including glovebox.
Seems to be many different sellers and varying prices, can anyone recommend my best option plz.
Whats the difference in them that makes them so different in price??
I also believe Toranapa have best silver inserts for lower section as i do have black dash to use if needed.
Thanks

All the ones you see are repro , haven’t used one but if it’s like a lot of repro stuff , it’s probably no where near as good as original. Get a good wood grain one and sand it back and paint . In saying that the bits RPA does are good , I have his stick on lower dash bits

I was going to say it is just a satin silver acrylic. Same paint used on HJ-HX sports dash probably. Will just be a simple silver, looks very close to VK plastic bar colour from memory just not gloss.

There has been discussion on the actual name of the colour on here before. It would be interesting to know incase i need to do 1 for someone at some point aswell & obviously other's interest. I'm sure someone will pipe in & mention it.

I’ve probably got a full lot of plastics here somewhere to see if it’s the same colour as my HJ Premier. Just have to find it, will be under mounds of Holden stuff. I think I kept it but may also have chucked it when I moved.

Thanks guys for the info.
Yel i actually thought same as you have done, paint dash and use stick on decals on lower dash. As long as the silver colours were close enough to each other
