yea i saw that and did not no what it was doing..and the nm also is not right think on the day it made about  348nm

first dyno made 128hp(465 carb) then on another dyno made 145hp (450carb) and more nm then went back to the first dyno with only changing diff gears from 3.36 to 3.9 and it made 132hp then changed the carb to 570 and made 145hp

so if went back to the other dyno might be different again

all the time only making to around the 5000 mark before it drops off

was done in 3rd trymatic

thats a big no for v8 will be putting on a magnuson 112 supercharger very soon just the guy doing the kit lives in Melbourne and the virus is slowing him up

it just seams like some thing is holding it back on dyno but it drives quite well

could it be the comp.. the cam said 11.1 comp minimum and i have 10.4 ??

hope you can understand all that

and thanks for your input

Isn't the 112 a bit big for a 202? The 112 was designed for engines from about 5 litres from memory. I would have thought an M90 would be a better choice for a small engine like a 202? It is what is used on my 4.0L Hilux.

What sort of boost are you intending? I only run about 6.5psi but I also have 10:1 compression

i am going to get my comp down to 9.1 and going to have 2 pulleys 12 psi and a 15 psi and will stay with the na cam.. i no it will bleed off so thats why i am thinking 15 psi

will be interesting

May I suggest swapping it out for a bog stock LS1.

That will solve your lack of horsepower issues. :)

the LS engine is for people who want to go fast but have no money.

I’ve been eyeing off a SBC Eaton 112 kit for SBC. The twin carb one is about $5800 in Australia. You can get a single carb version for under $5000 but they work better with dual carbs. Maybe one day!

I reckon you’ll complain when you find it’s too big for a tiny engine like a 202!

this is the first time i have had anything to do with supercharges.. but dont they put 142..192..and 4/71 and 6/71 on 202s

i was thinking that 112 wont have to work hard to give me 15psi

but always learning

cheers

I have a manifold for a 4/71 onto a Hemi 6.

Most theory I have seen for GM blowers is for say a 400ci engine you use a 6/71 for up to about 8-10psi, no point in using an 8/71. The 6/71 will do say 18psi but has to be overdriven a lot to do it and thus generates more heat, whereas an 8/71 will do that easily. So your theory is sound in theory. My concern is the size of the blower versus the size of the engine. But someone that does these all the time will give you far better advice!
