Hi all,

Just curious as to why there is a difference in the location of the aerial on the passenger guard of LC toranas?

I have noticed many aerials are located quite high close to the windscreen corner of the guard, yet others (like mine) are further down the guard roughly in line with the wheel arch.

Why is this so? Is this just something that happened differently between the various assembly plants?

I have heard that some Police LCGTR aerials were fitted further down the guard as mine was.

Holes under glovebox, hole in centre of roof patched up, dealer code where it was sold in camperdown was one of a few to deal with selling to police, and old man i bought it off of in 2004 mentioned it too.
