Hey guys,

Thinking of adding the white roof to my Salamanca red 74 LH SL.

anyone know the paint code for the white?

 

Was it a factory option or dealer/aftermarket painted?

Standard option to most GMH vehicles in that era. Will be the standard white used off the same colour chart as your car which I think without checking is Glacier white. Holden changed to HJ colours in the last month or so of HQ but Torana continued with HQ colours for a while into HJ using up unused HQ paint sent to Dandenong from the other body plants and Elizabeth assembly plant. It is possible though if your car is 9/74 or 10/74 it could still be Salamanca but with Cotillion roof.

Great thanks, it’s an 06/74 so that looks like it will be Glacier White.

 

Also looks like the stock white roof extends down to the base of the A pillar. Have seen some done that stop at the top of the A pillar and I think look better. Thoughts?

So does vinyl go down the pillar and pain doesn’t?

Anybody know what was stock if any?

The white may. But remember they were done at different times using different processes. You need to find images of an untouched example.
