Tell me people.. VDO 320.002 or VDO 320.021
Which one is correct? And why?

They will both work, however the readings will be slightly different between the two.

 

VDO specify the 360.021, but this gives a slightly lower gauge reading than actual. A false sense of security if you like.

 

Having said that, the 360.002 in some cars will reading a little high.

 

The problem is that the electrical systems & gauges in these cars are a little 'primitive'. They do vary from car to car.

 

When I had my workshop I found that owners were 'happier' with the gauge sitting a little bit low that a little bit high.
