Hi Guys,

Can anyone help with any details whatsoever of an LC coupe just off the body number? All tags are missing... :(

That is the chassis number. Body number is on the body tag. If it has no tags it is just an LC coupe, do as you wish with it. Perfect body to go to town on with V8 etc, no-one will be offended.

More precisely we need the Model Number off the body ID tag to ID it. Where did the 2394-B body number come from if the tags are gone ?

Also without being too picky, there were no LC coupes built except one prototype, 2 door LC/LJ Toranas are "2-door Sedans".

Thanks Dr Terry, the body number was somehow decoded by someone else using the chassis number and pics? that's why I said "I think" as I really have no idea just going on what I've been told to date.
I know it is a 82911 from features on the car but was hoping to find more info. It has a 173 but it is a CD prefix so no help there

Chassis number LC09093B aligns with a build date of April 1970.

Hard to guess a body number without knowing if the car was from the Acacia Ridge or Pagewood assembly plant.

Is there any difference in the body/build to help identify the plant?

Torana assembled at Pagewood used bodies built at Acacia Ridge hence why Pagewood Torana have chassis numbers from the Acacia Ridge sequence.

At the end of the day, trying to nail a body number for the chassis number is only ever going to be an educated guess.

No amount of guessing numbers is going to lead to discovering the cars factory assigned PSN.

As has been said before. In the absence of all tags it is just a 2dr Torana, modify it to your hearts desire.
