Apologies members if this has been answered before but I haven’t been able to locate an answer.

I have a LS coded trimatic that came with an 11WT blue 308. The engine code refers to a WB Statesman.

I am unable to find a reference to the LS code on red/silver ID plate on the transmission. I plan to sell the auto but it would be nice to advise the buyer what year model it came out of.

The link to holdenpedia mentioned in an old post doesn’t seem to work understandably.

It was from a 308 VK. I'm not sure if the same for 304, but that serial number is pretty high so I guess so. I'd take a guess and say it was a 1986 build.

I have "LS" listed under 5.0L VK, but also under 5.0L WB, given that was what the engine came from I'd guess it's the matching trans?

The WB cattle dog says "LS" is the 5.0L console shift (left-hand selector) model, and "LT" is the 5.0L column shift (right-hand selector).
