Hi all, I've pulled my starter apart checked brushes and reassembled. I'd like to base re zinced but I'm not sure how the process would go with the brass bush .should I just paint it?ta Paul.

The bronze bush can be removed then refitted after the housing has been zinc plated.

Pack the bushing with Blue Tack before getting plated. Did the same to a wiper motor housing I had re-zinced and worked fine.
