Just wondering if anyone has installed retractable seat belts to an LC/LJ coupe. I have some in my HR wagon but they have an installation/anchor fitting at top of B pillar and with inertia reel at bottom they work really well, but my LC coupe have mounting point around shoulder height near rear windows, and don't think that would work. I need to get new seat belts for car and retractables are so much neater and look better. If anyone has some pics in-situ, or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated, paul

Hi Paul,
Try seatsafe.com.au all sorts of options there, might help you.
Cheers Graham.

I have done this to both my LJ coupes. It was a requirement to get the blue one on SR plates.
Liked it so much I did it to the yellow car as well.
Its very easy to do. Vicroads used to have a description somewhere in their online documents regarding the requirements for making new seatbelt mounts. They are not onerous.

They supplied correct mounting points at $8 per point.
