My drivers side quarter glass lock is loose and flops around a bit so I want to remove it. I'm a bit fearful of braking the glass in that corner if I am too ham-fisted so whats the method of removal. This car came with 2 x NOS whole quarter glass assemblies so was going to just switch my date matched glass to the new assembly (my rubbers are also perished) hence why I want to remove it. Also I can't see to budge the chrome philips screws which hinges this glass? Are these unusually tight or are mine just seized on from age.

Crikey reading this link made me more paranoid, and I thought it was a stupid question to begin with?. They are clearly a major issue to unscrew. Might just put up with the sloppy latch. Thanks for the link Paul.

I soaked mine for a few days in Penetrene or you could use diesel , it helps.
