Let's hope this wasn't a forum member.

Two people have been hurt when the car they were driving smashed into a pole at Moffat Beach.
Witnesses say the Torana lost control and almost went through the shops. Incredibly no by-standers were injured.

Bloody Landcruisers. They annoy me so much. You nearly run up their ass as you leave a traffic light as they don’t go anywhere in 1st gear.

All over Facebook too.

Easy too be critical, but we have all done dumb things in cars and got away with it. In this case its unfortunately turned to crap. Thankfully with no serious injuries.

Pretty silly not getting your foot out of it when someone pulls out in-front of you.

Report says traffic was backed up. I guess the driver just assumed he had a clear run.

I'd always panic a little inside when friends would go fast toward the crest of a hill, you should never just assume the road you can't see, is clear just over the hill; there could be a kid chasing a ball that's run onto the road, etc.

And looking at the powerplant in the front of that thing, it was probably not legal either. Silly mistake may cost the owner a lot more than he envisaged...

Twin turbo LS motor. Was a rocket ship more for a track than a street...

I'm sure it will cost him heaps and his insurance surely won't pay out a cent.If he has insurance.

Forced induction in an LX is only legal under around 4.5L these days so no way that is registerable with turbo LS. Amongst numerous other things that are not legal.

That is prob least of his worries though with the outcome of this situation.

If it happened on a quiet back street I wouldn't say a thing.  But during a public event on a crowded street with a stop sign at the end of it?  He is a knob jockey.

Exactly Shiney. Laid frOcking heaps of rubber, just never done it showing off in a crowded place like a knob jockey.

Gene would you feel the same if the car was a modded Skyline or similar? i.e. something that you ordinarily don't like (not saying you don't like Skylines but they are from a different scene).
