Did they pull out & repair the original damaged panels or replaced off a donor car?

 

First saw my lc gtr as a kid when cousin in law first built it...I've owned it 26 years iirc although it's in need of major rebuild after it got damaged in storage.

 

Cool that you've known your torrie most of your life too.

A bit of both mate.

 

Sad to hear your car was damaged, hope it wasn’t too bad.

 

I am really lucky, I actually know both of the previous owners of my car personally.

 

The 1st guy worked for our local Holden dealership and only kept his cars for one year.

Started a new job a couple of months ago, so have been a bit distracted of late.

 

Looking for a reputable supplier for rechromed front bumper for my LJ....any help or advice appreciated.


Would also appreciate feedback on people’s experience using a Rare Spares after market one?

I used one in 2012 and it was fine back then

Was the gauge of the steel much lighter than original and how did it line up?



And the other question I have is, how has the chrome stood the test of time?
