Hi there, I just bought my UC...it has hidden wiring in the engine bay and a 5L. The headlights only have highbeam (H4 bulbs installed) and won’t dip to low beam. The indicator stalk is a bit dicky so a new one is on its way. The UC wiring diagram in the forum does not show a relay...I have looked everywhere for a relay like the LX one, and typical box-type relays (rubber-necked under dash and kick panels, checked radiator supports, under wheel arches etc)...traced wires etc. Can’t find a bloody headlight relay!

Question: did the UC come out with the LX type latching relay? If it did, where was it located please? the previous owner may have “deleted” it...will find out when new stalk arrives.

Cheers

Paul

New blinker stalk/switch fitted today. Bingo, we have high and low beam... also tightened the ignition switch housing...now can’t rotate the key in the lock, so the bloody steering wheel is coming off again.

Make sure you use a relay if you have larger wattage high beams. Originals were 55W from memory.
