Hi all
I have a 1972 LJ and want to fit a 1973 splash tray and air dam (with reinforcing struts that protrude into the lower radiator support.) Holes have been cut to accept the splash tray struts however the radiator may not be an LJ radiator as when the splash tray is fitted the radiator/radiator support panel holes do not align (about 7mm out.) Are 1972/1973 radiators different sizes or could my radiator be from some other model? Radiator has no fan shroud or other visible markings. I want to order a 3 core triple flow if Aussie desert coolers still manufacture these but wish to ensure I can also fit the splash guard without cutting off the ends of the reinforcing struts.
Thanks
Ben

Radiators didn't change between 72/73. You may have another model.

I had the same problem and was just going to re-drill holes to match radiator support panel but then realised the radiator was actually deeper meaning it would hit stone tray or bonnet.

Ok thanks Marty - I was thinking of doing the same with the mounting holes but didn’t really want the radiator sitting that much higher.
