Not surprised as there won’t be much interstate travel until probably late 2021 or into 2022, what just happened in NSW and Victoria is probably a wake up call. It appears it’ll take until probably July/August to get all elderly and frontline workers vaccinated.
I won’t be surprised if we can’t even travel interstate or overseas without proof of vaccination. Or even attend large venues especially indoors. Until maybe even 2023 or later for overseas, and even then maybe not to places like Africa.

Not really. 20,000 at the SCG isn’t the problem. It will be people using public transport where the big risk is. The SCG can seat near 50,000 from memory and people will be spread out. Getting there, and then in and out is the problem.
I reckon there will be a big reduction in the crowd come Test day though.
NSW has done really well in my opinion given the amount of people in the State, never closing its borders other than for a period with Victoria during its big outbreak and the huge amounts of returning travellers plus the volume of international freight that goes through NSW.

Yes you’re Premier needs to get her shit together double standards

Despite that, she got voted back in

I sent a letter to the "editor" of quite a few Queensland newspapers stating what she  had done to stop me and my wife from getting to our dying daughter PLUS the fact that the vane bitch pronounces her name wrong

She pronounces Palaszczuk as Palasay where as from her country of origan it should be Pal-a-chook

Look at the last 6 letters of her name and tell me how she comes up with "say" with those last letters

I went to school with a fella whose last name was spelt that way and was pronounced Demachook

Do you think I am bitter over this  :dontknow:  Bloody oath I am

No No NO, that's early

Not if you know what goes into the organisation of such a BIG event which also includes getting the celeb guests there

Remember at Toranafest 2019 there were about 483 Toranas there

2021 Toranafest was maybe going to be my last Fest considering what my body is going through atm so Toranafest 2023, "IF" it goes on will probably be without me

Gene was talking about Gladys not Anna, but that doesn’t alter the situation. I get exactly where you are coming from. I thought it was (at best) cheeky of the QLD Premier to beg NSW residents to come holiday in QLD, yet the second there is one COVID case she’ll shut the border. She was called out on it by the NSW Premier though.

Who gives a rat's arse about either of them.

We as a country have to protect everyone against this and if it means a hard stance on closing borders and making people do quarantine time then so be it.
Think of all the people who couldn't say goodbye to loved ones and who had to die alone because of what is happening in the world.
Australia is leading the way with least amount of cases and deaths from it.
But having said that I firmly believe that we will never know what the real death toll is from covid19 as doctors have been told by government officials that regardless of what someone has died from if they have it in their system that they died of covid regardless.
