I can recommend E-Go for cost and getting the job done. Not fast!

That's a bummer, have used them a few times, cheap and reliable.
Maybe if you were happy to box it up and call in "machine part" ?

E-go? I've sent a gearbox and a Valiant door (in separate consignments) with them just two or three weeks ago...

Ahh, from E-go website -
From 26 January E-Go will no longer accept bookings for car parts
Please note that from 26 January E-Go will no longer accept bookings for car parts not packed in their original cartons.
This includes, but is not limited to, engines, gearboxes, diffs, axles etc, as well as wheels, tyres, doors, car panels, bonnets, spoilers etc.
Where a driver identifies car parts for jobs booked subsequent to 26 January, the pick-up will not be completed and a cancellation fee may be applicable.
I also regularly use Transdirect, Smartsend and Interparcel - usually whoever gives the best quote...

Put it on a pallet, wrap it up, call it a skid/pallet.
When they say they aren't doing car parts, they are referring to that category on their form that classifies your consignment as "car parts".
I normally wrap my shit up or box it up etc. (with the exception of wheels/tyres on a few occasions) and never use that 'car parts' category anyway. I've never been called out for that.

Forgot about this thread - I've recently had the worst experience with E-go, I wont go into detail but anyone reading this should know they are owned by the same people that own 'Hunter Express' (CLC Deliveries p/l). Do yourself a favour and google reviews for these companies.
