This is my first build project. Starting with the rust repairs in rear and trimming guards to fit some fatter rubber. Had these laying around so thought we’d trial the Hotwheels look to prove they fit.

Upload them to Facebook, it reduces the size of the image then save to phone and attach the saved version of the photo.

I’d say it’s just the forums way of showing disapproval to putting 22’s on a steel bumpered car.

Is that sitting at ride height above or wheel at full bump? That looks like it will need a fair bit of tub work to get any sort of respectable ride height.

It was only because I had the set of 22’s laying around we had a look for a laugh. Currently working on minor rust repairs and cutting guards for flares.

Looks like that plenum needs some attention, haha.

Good luck and share your progress.

Yeah it does Heath. Odd that it’s rusted up so high but not in the bottom around drain holes or channels. Can’t explain why but maybe a weak spot from factory. All sills were good to but a bit of rust further up the pillars. All cut out now, plenum will be the last repair.
