Torana hub sizes

I have new hoppers upgrade kit with torana pattern hubs.
My question is....
The hoppers hubs are machined to suit 63.5mm bore rims, i have 16" simmons V5 torana pattern rims and they have bore of @ 60mm...obviously a problem for me!
Rang hoppers and they said to machine down the new hubs to suit.
Anyone else had this issue??
I was at some stage in the future hoping to get some 15" hotwires but if they are std 63.5 bore i then would be thinking i would either need new hubs or somehow have a very thin locator ring fitted, of which dont appear to be anything like that off the shelf that i can find...
Thoughts please guys....
Thankyou

Machine the hubs down, then later on you could get a ring custom made if you want too...5 stud wheels do locate well on studs only, just do them up evenly in small steps(starting finger tight) to torque, friction on faces holds the wheel true more than anything.

I've made locating rings thinner than that no problem, so yeah just machine the hubs to suit the wheels since that's the cheaper (and easier) part to modify.

It would be worth getting a quote from Alliance Rim Repairs to machine the rims to 63.5 or bigger.

In my opinion hub locators more trouble than they are worth on a Torana.

I did think might be best having rims machined out to the standard size 63.5.

standard hub size on stock wheels are 63.5 but the hubs and the axle centres are mostly around 61 mm
what brakes are on the back ? drums dont like hubcentric wheels as the drum flares out around the centre

Had the rim bores machined out to 63.5 to suit the hoppers hub...all good, $80 per wheel.

Good. That is what I would have done also.
