Can anyone help me to identify if the LX Hatchback removable steering column panel at the Fire wall (see Picture) has a gasket. I cannot locate it in any parts lists I have. If it does have a Gasket... where can I buy one

From memory most I ever pulled apart be it Statesman, Holden or Torana just had black caulking compound in the join. I bought a tube from Bunnings to put the column back in my Hk. I’m using the same stuff to seal the tank to the body.

Agree, no gasket just caulking compound.

I used this, not sure if perfectly correct but it works and comes apart years later if needed.

Personally I wouldn't use silicone sealants.

The D mastic would be perfect. I used Bostick black windscreen sealer which is similar.
