I'm pretty sure it would be the yellow wire that says don't cut?

This is a resisted wire to the coil and if shortened it would reduce the amount of resistance.

You shouldn't need it at all on your conversion.

It is for points ignition.

The pink and yellow wires have to be joined together and they go to the pink wire on v6 conversion loom this is what pat from v6 said and the violet wire on the uc loom goes to violet on the v6 loom. What i understand is the wire that says dont cut is the pulse wire. Thanks Gary.

I’m pretty sure you have to bridge pink and yellow at the output of the ignition switch otherwise you’ll get 9V to the EFI harness when running. The resistance wire is in the dash harness.

Now i am confused if pink and yellow are joined together and connected to the v6 conversion loom why do they have to be bridged or bridged to which wires.

Because one is START power and one is RUN power. Designed to give 12V to coil during cranking and 9V when running. Bridging them at the ignition switch gives you 12V all the time which is what modern ignition needs.
