Hi All,

Quick question. Is this gap normal between the sunvisor and the roof of an LJ?

Regards

              Steve

Hello Steve, as far as i know, yes there should be a gap. It allows the air that gets under it somewhere to escape otherwise it will cause huge air resistance and petrol consumption would go up. I vaguely remember reading of lots of testing went into these so that they wouldn't get noisy but at from memory there was noise at high speed.

Did Torana ever have the visor centre support bracket that attaches to the roof? Similar to EH one pictured.

I remember my grandmother arriving at our place one day with a galah stuck between the visor and the roof with its head poking out the top. I pulled him out and he flew off perfectly fine.
