Hi all , I have 205 tyres fitted to sprintmaster rims , the spare tyre won’t rest in the side panel as it should, as it’s a 205 ,I’ve decided to fit the original GTR rims back on . I think the original tyre size was 185 /70 /13 . What is the widest tyre size I can go in order to be able to store the spare in the boot as it should be ? Thanks Paul.

Why don’t you just run a stock spare? Probably never get used in any case.

quote name="oz772" post="921057" timestamp="1442215315"]The nearest size you can get now is 185/70 x 13. Unfortunately, they don't quite look right. I'm trying to figure out which way to go with my LC XU1 right now.
Have been think about Avon CR6ZZ's possibly. The alternative is to go to 205/60 x13 in a Chinese brand. Not sure whether that will make the steering too heavy though.[/quote]

I was going to fit the original wheels with 185 79R 13 tyres. How do these differ from the factory fitted 185 70H 13 tyres . And do they look shit?
